I am a professional violinist with over twenty years of experience. I attained my Bachelors of Music Education from Bowling Green State University where I studied violin with Dr. Penny Thompson Kruse. I have a Masters of Music Education from the University of South Carolina. Performance experience includes work as a soloist, as a member of a string quartet, and in an orchestral setting.

I have more than ten years of musical teaching experience, both teaching privately and in the school classroom. I am proud to be able to say that my students have won many awards, including superior ratings at SCMEA Concert Festival and superior ratings and first place at Fiesta-val competitions. My private students consistently earn superior and excellent ratings at solo and ensemble competitions. Many of my students have gained acceptance into youth orchestras and honors orchestras. As a professional violinist, I have played for countless weddings and special events as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles, string quartets and string trios.

I also make handmade artisan soap through the cold process method. You can check it out here!
